Here we are at the end of 2025 and the start of a new year.

What are your career dreams? And how can you make them real? Daniel Bingley, 41, from Wootton, Beds, was forced to dream big after being discharged from the Army after a serious injury.

What do you do?

I'm the UK team leader for Computer Network Architecture at DXC Technology, a leading enterprise technology and innovation partner. I lead a team of 70 specialists delivering consulting, engineering and technology solutions. I've been here for three years and really enjoy it. In my day-to-day role, I oversee the design, maintenance and innovation of network technologies for a wide range of clients. I make sure the information highways between their hardware remain secure and efficient.

What do you love about it?

I thrive on the opportunity to innovate. DXC gives me the freedom to improve and maintain technologies that everyone relies on.

My passion for computing began early, when I was 10. I connected my computer to another one at home so I could play games with my brother. I've loved computers ever since.
