GREAVES IS PROVING A TOUGH ACT

SHE may not have won a match, but Beau Greaves has certainly ruffled plenty of feathers at the Grand Slam of Darts.

Greaves was beaten in a thriller on Saturday night, going down in a deciding leg to Michael van Gerwen.

And she went the distance against another the multiple-time former world champion Gary Anderson last night before eventually being beaten 5-4. Greaves, 21, beat Luke Littler recently to qualify for the World Youth Championship final, where she will face Gian van Veen later this month.

She will play on the PDC Tour next year having qualified for a Tour Card - and Greaves proved she will be no pushover at her third Grand Slam.
