Giuffre family 'shame' blast

THE family of Jeffrey Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre say Peter Mandelson should not have been appointed as Britain's ambassador to the US.

Sky Roberts, whose sister Virginia died by suicide in April, said: "He should never have been given the position in the first place."

He added to the BBC yesterday: "It speaks to how deep the corruption goes in our systems. Whether that's linked to the UK, US or abroad."

Virginia's sister-in-law Amanda Roberts added: "Our governments have allowed these people to hold their status and their title without shame.

"He should never have been given that title. We have to put the spotlight on them.

"It's unfair... survivors have to continuously point the finger."

Former Labour minister Lord Mandelson, elevated to the Lords in 2008, was appointed British Ambassador to the United States in February.

He was already known to have had a relationship with Epstein
