Christmas ad starring famous festive grump launched by Asda
ASDA has called on festive grump The Grinch to help shoppers get into the Christmas spirit.
The TV advert features the famous Christmas cynic as a grumbling dad fed-up with prices at this time of year, in a nod to the cost-of-living crisis.
To a reworked version of Let it Snow, he then discovers the joy of the season.
How The Grinch Stole Christmas, starring Jim Carrey in the title role, was first released 25 years ago this winter.
The Grinch's green glow is a good fit for Asda's colours, something the grocer makes a virtue of in the advert.
