Cromwell withdraws Gold Cup hero from Grand National

INTENSE RAFFLES became the new favourite for the Grand National yesterday after Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Inothewayurthinkin was taken out of the race.

Last year's Irish Grand National winner was cut to 7-1 from 8-1 by William Hill after Gavin Cromwell withdrew his stable star. Iroko is 8-1 and last year's winner, I Am Maximus, 10-1.
