GARNER: WE ARE LOOKING UP, NOT DOWN

JAMES GARNER insists there's been a mentality shift at Everton.

No longer are the Blues thinking just about beating the drop - and that's down to manager David Moyes.

The Toffees got out of a sticky situation early into the Scot's tenure when he arrived in January last season, and they haven't looked back.

Now back-to-back wins in the Premier League against Brighton and Wolves have Blues fans champing at the bit for their team to return against Aston Villa on Saturday following the international break.

With a new stadium open and players like Jack Grealish (below) shining, there's growing optimism on the blue half of Merseyside.

Midfielder Garner (with Moyes, top) has put it down to the manager.
