Alfie's friends are amazed he can handle the job at his age

BRITAIN'S youngest undertaker has told how he loves the job.

Alfie Taylor, who is 16, has just conducted his first funeral after months of training.

He had thought of becoming a plasterer after completing his GCSEs but fate intervened in the shape of his funeral director uncle Simon.

Alfie said: “When Simon asked me if I was interested in a job, I took the opportunity and never looked back. I'm glad I did as it is all very rewarding.

“It’s that person's last journey and I want to make it special for them.”
