'Fragile' Farage 'uncomfortable with women'

Former First Minister Sturgeon slams Reform leader in TV chat

NICOLA Sturgeon has said Nigel Farage does not come across as someone who is comfortable around women.

The former Scottish First Minister, who served in the role between 2014 and 2023, said the Reform UK leader “comes across as somebody who has got a very, very fragile ego”.

Her comments came after she described him as “odious” in her upcoming memoir Frankly, which is due to be released on Thursday.

Asked about the label in an interview with ITV last night, Ms Sturgeon, 55, said: “This is my impression... other people might have a different view of him.

“He just comes across as somebody who has got a very, very fragile ego. Somebody who is not particularly comfortable, particularly around women.”
