Comedian and actress Rosie Jones has spoken about the importance of inclusion as she backs the Mirror's Christmas charity campaign.

The star, 35, know for roles in Casualty and Call The Midwife as well as comedy, told how disabled people risk poor mental health through isolation and lack of connection." Rosie, who has cerebral palsy, added: "Disabled people disproportionately experience an increased risk of poor mental health, which is largely influenced by higher rates of isolation in a world that isn't built for us." At the start of December we launched our appeal to aid the charity Lifelites, which provides assistive and sensory technology to every children's hospice in the UK and Ireland.

Thanks to your amazing generosity, we have so far raised more than £23,000 which is an incredible and life-changing amount.

Lifelites reaches 15,000 children and young people with life-limiting conditions, but there are still 85,000 without access to its life-changing tech.
