Crossbow killer 'fuelled by Tate'

Murderer of John Hunt's daughter was fan of influencer but rape jurors were not told

CROSSBOW killer Kyle Clifford watched a slew of Andrew Tate videos before killing his ex, her sister and their mother.

His interest in the vile influencer can now be revealed as Clifford's trial for having raped ex Louise Hunt has ended in a guilty verdict.

The jilted ex-soldier, 26, had already admitted murdering Louise, 25, the daughter of BBC racing pundit John Hunt, as well as Louise's sister Hannah, 28, and their mum Carol, 61.

A jury yesterday took 45 minutes to convict him of rape and the verdict was read out in Clifford's absence, as he refused to attend the court.

Prosecutors are now expected to pursue a whole-life term when Clifford is sentenced, which would make him among only a handful of UK offenders to get the punishment.

Others include serial baby-killer nurse Lucy Letby and Milly Dowler's murderer, Levi Bellfield.

Prosecutors say the "violent misogyny promoted" by ex-kickboxer Tate "fuelled" Clifford's attacks. But rape trial judge Mr Justice Bennathan ruled jurors should not know Clifford had searched for Tate online and watched up to 10 of his videos.
