Brueckner 'insulted jail staff'

MADELEINE McCann suspect Christian Brueckner has been summoned to court again, his first appearance since he was freed from jail earlier this year.

Paedophile and rapist Brueckner, 49, will return to the dock in Germany in June, charged in connection with his conduct in Sehnde Prison.

Since being released from the jail near Hanover on September 17 he has been under police surveillance and must wear an ankle tag.

Speaking to the Mirror, Judge Torben Tolle said: "The case is in relation to the accusations of having insulted prison staff. We are looking at whether it will be held in the large courtroom or not."
