Store's treat for oldest shopper, 106
A SECOND World War hero aged 106 has been given a Christmas surprise by his local supermarket for being a loyal customer.
Owen Filer, believed to be the oldest man in Wales, has shopped at the Asda store in Cwmbran nearly every day since it opened 24 years ago.
To say thank you, staff arranged an early Christmas gift for him - a trolley full of his regular groceries along with some festive treats like biscuits, a yule log and mince pies.
