A landowner fears a £500,000 cleanup bill will bankrupt him after 1,200 tons of rubbish was dumped on his four-acre rural plot.

Peter Dive said he felt “numb” when waste was illegally left last May on land where he had wanted to build a home in Stockton, Norfolk.
