The RMB _Internationalization Forum 2025, organized by the Sri Lanka—China Business Council of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Bank of China, was held recently at the Shangri-La Colombo.

Qi Zhenhong, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Sri Lanka; Dr. P. Nandalal Weerasinghe, Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka; Dr. Anil Jayantha Fernando, Deputy Minister of Economic Development; Liu Ying, Country Manager of the Bank of China (Colombo Branch); and Haroun Cader, President of the Sri Lanka- China Business Council and the Distinguished Guests.
The event brought together distinguished policymakers, diplomats, and business leaders to discuss the future of bilateral trade and financial cooperation through the use of the Chinese Yuan (RMB).
