Message from Hon Foreign Adviser

Today is the 26th of March, the great Independence and National Day of Bangladesh. On this day in 1971, the fight to establish an independent, sovereign Bangladesh finally began. The mass people of this country waged the Liberation War against the Pakistani armed forces.

Consequently, Bangladesh achieved independence at the cost of lives of hundreds of thousands of martyrs in a long nine-month bloody Liberation War.

On this day, I remember with deep respect the heroic martyrs of the great Liberation War, all leaders of the independence movement, the valiant freedom fighters, the mothers and sisters. who lost their honour, and the freedom-loving people of this country, whose supreme sacrifices and contributions brought for us this independent Bangladesh. I also respectfully remember all the martyrs of the mass uprising of July-August 2024.
