Amarapura Sangha Sabha expresses condolences to people of Myanmar

While expressing its condolences the Amarapura Maha Sangha Sabha on the destruction caused to Myanmar, the General Secretary of the sect Most Venerable Balangoda Siriwimala Thissa in a letter addressed to the President of Myanmar Min Aung Hlaing and Most Venerable Bhaddanta Chandimabhibamsa Nayake Thera expressed solidarity with the people of Myanmar and stated the Sangha Sabha is committed to extending assistance to those affected, further strengthening the historic relationship between our two nations.

With profound sadness ( sanvega ), the Sri Lankan Amarapura Maha Sangha Sabha extends deep-felt condolences to the people of Myanmar who have suffered immense losses due to the devastating earthquake.
