THE Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) recently held the second Progress Presentations of its Research and Development (R&D) Program, showcasing pioneering research collaborations between universities and industry aimed at driving innovation in the country's telecommunication sector.

Organised under the Sri Lanka Telecommunications Act, No. 25 of 1991 (as amended), TRCSL's R&D Program serves as a vital platform connecting academia, industry and the regulator to foster applied research that addresses emerging technological challenges and contributes to the sustainable growth of Sri Lanka's digital ecosystem.
