Mercantile Rugby Football Sevens kicks off tomorrow

20 teams, including two new comers will be seen in action at the 53rd Mercantile Rugby Football Sevens 2025 together with 8th Women's Tag Rugby ‘Sevens” conducted by the Mercantile Rugby Football Association (MRFA) under its new President, Mindika Jayasinghe from Sampath Bank, on 12 and 13 September, at CR&FC Grounds, Longdon Place, Colombo 7.

On Friday, the tournament will be conducted from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will be continued on Saturday from 10.a.m. to 6 p.m.

The principal sponsor Mastercard is sponsoring the tournament for the 3rd successive year; supported by LOLC Finance PLC as the financial service provider; Prima Kottumee as the Food Partner; Turbo Energy Drink as the Beverage partner; Iodex as the pain relive partner; The Papare as the broadcasting partner and Yes FM as the radio partner.
