LG and Abans appoint Pathum Nissanka as Brand Ambassador

LG Electronics (LG), together with the Sri Lankan national distributor Abans, have announced the appointment of Sri Lankan international cricketer Pathum Nissanka as its official Brand Ambassador.

The partnership brings together two names synonymous with consistency, performance, and trust—LG, a global leader in home appliances and electronics, and Nissanka, one of Sri Lanka's most accomplished contemporary cricketers.

The collaboration was officially unveiled at a ceremonial event held at Courtyard by Marriott on 31 December 2025. Through this partnership, Pathum Nissanka will represent LG's global brand promise, “Life's Good”, serving as a symbol of reliability, excellence, and optimism for Sri Lankan consumers.

Pathum Nissanka has distinguished himself through unwavering consistency and determination at the highest level of international cricket. His achievements include scoring a century on his Test debut and making history as the first Sri Lankan to record an ODI double century in February 2024. His career has been further marked by strong World Cup performances, high ICC rankings, and accolades such as Player of the Match at the 2025 Asia Cup, establishing him as a benchmark of excellence and discipline.
