Hemal Lokugeegana assumes duties as CEO of HDFC bank with other key appointments

HEMAL Chaminda Lokugeegana has been appointed as the General Manager/CEO of HDFC Bank of Sri Lanka with effect from 14 August, and officially assumed duties at the bank’s Head Office.

Lokugeegana is a highly accomplished professional with a distinguished career spanning over 24 years in the banking sector. As a recognised leader in business and management, he has consistently held senior management roles, demonstrating a profound understanding of corporate operations and strategic leadership. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the University of Kelaniya and a Master's Degree in Business Management from the University of Rajarata. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Bankers and a member of the Institute of Management and a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personal Management.
