THE Presidents Media Division (PMD) yesterday said that for the first time in Sri Lanka’s history, the ‘Research Priorities for Sri Lanka – 2026’ report, aligned with the Government’s socioeconomic development program, was officially presented to Secretary to the President Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumaranayake at the Presidential Secretariat.
This report marks the beginning of a new era of national development driven by research and innovation, the statement said.
The report was handed over by National Science and Technology Commission (NASTEC) Chairman Prof. G.W.A. Rohan Fernando.
