ENTRIES are now being accepted for the WPBA All-Island Open Badminton Championships 2025, popularly known as the 'Western Shuttle Blitz 2025,' which is scheduled to be held from 5 July to 13 July at few key venues in and around Colombo.

Organised by the Western Province Badminton Association (WPBA) under the sanction of Sri Lanka Badminton (SLB), the nine-day championship is expected to attract all top ranked local shuttlers, who will compete under different categories. While the Mercantile Badminton Trust at Malalasekara Mawatha, Colombo 7, serves as the main venue, Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) and Lumbini College Indoor Sports Complex have also being named as competition venues for the annual packed tournament of WPBA.
