CILT Sri Lanka Awards Shine Bright at CILT International Convention 2025

SRI Lanka successfully hosted the CILT International Convention 2025 from September 14 to 17 at the luxurious Cinnamon Life City of Dreams, marking a defining moment for the nation's logistics and transport sector.

The convention drew more than 100 international delegates from over 30 countries alongside 300 local logistics and supply chain professionals, positioning Sri Lanka as a rising hub for global logistics expertise and innovation.

Organized by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Sri Lanka (CILT SL), the annual International Convention brings together industry leaders, policymakers, academics, and practitioners to explore emerging trends and best practices in logistics, supply chain management, and transport. Following a successful bid last year to host the prestigious event, CILT SL delivered a meticulously planned convention that combined international perspectives with local insights.

The 2025 edition of the convention was held under the theme "Future Ready Logistics: Embracing Change and Driving Sustainability." Over two full days, delegates participated in a keynote session, 17 speeches covering various topics all aligned with the main theme, and two thought provoking panel discussions. The sessions explored a wide range of subjects. The program provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of both the challenges and opportunities facing the logistics sector in today's rapidly evolving global marketplace.
