The new mobile application is yet another initiative that highlights the Bank’s longstanding legacy of innovation and its continued effort to meet evolving customer needs in a digitally driven world.
Specifically designed to enhance the experience of inward remittances, the app offers a smarter, faster, and more secure way for Sri Lankans and foreign nationals abroad, enabling money transfers to loved ones. With remittances forming a vital economic and emotional bridge between expatriates and their families in Sri Lanka, the app makes it easier than ever to stay connected.
According to Assistant General Manager-International of Bank of Ceylon Mr Upul Wijethunga, “Smart Remit Mobile App is designed with our customers’ needs at the heart of every feature. We understand that behind every remittance is a personal story, a family, a goal, a future. This app empowers users to stay connected to their loved ones and manage transfers effortlessly, securely, and conveniently.”
