THE mother of a 15-year-old boy stabbed to death in a gang-related machete attack said as his killers were locked up: “When will this knife crime epidemic end?’

Joelle Taylor, whose son Daejaun Campbell was set upon in Woolwich, South East London last year, slammed the “pathetic cowards”.

Addressing them in court, Mrs Taylor hit out at their “lack of remorse”, adding: “Your actions have inflicted immense pain on me and my family.”
