We simply must honour our brave police heroes

THE heroism and sacrifice of police officers who were injured in the line of duty should be honoured and must not be forgotten.

On the 42nd anniverary of the IRA’s bombing of Harrods, we salute the bravery of Pam White and others whose lives were changed on that fateful day.

Then aged just 24, she raced to the scene when an alert was issued and was just yards away from the device when it detonated.
