Wary Slot wants his players to forget all about Arsenal game

ARNE SLOT has told his players to forget about Arsenal - or risk being thrown off course when they face Manchester City.

With leaders Liverpool not playing at the Etihad until Sunday, the Gunners can narrow the gap by beating West Ham tomorrow.

Slot said any lack of focus would be punished by a City side probably smarting at their emphatic defeat by Real Madrid this week.

He said: "Yeah, Arsenal play before us, but we know that doesn't make the game easier or more difficult against City.

"We know we have 12 games to play and Arsenal 13 games to play. If we constantly look at Arsenal or what other teams are doing, that would not help us.
