TIGHT BOND DRIVING ON DOM SQUAD

DOM JEFFERIES said a team bond is driving LINCOLN towards promotion after he sealed their fourth win in a row in the battle of the top two as the Imps beat CARDIFF 2-0.

Rob Street put them ahead 10 minutes into the second half before Jefferies (above) struck.

He said: “The lads grafted so hard for the whole 90 minutes, with everyone working for each other. There's a real togetherness within the squad. You can see that really clearly on the pitch.

“We are now 18 games unbeaten and haven't conceded a goal in the past four games, which you can only do with a special squad. But football is crazy, we know it can change quickly.”
