Unknown Tebogo steals the show from Lyles in stunner

HE entered the stadium leaping up and down, urging the crowd to get to their feet, gallivanting down the back straight while his rivals waited by their blocks.

A few minutes later, Noah Lyles was being wheeled away in a chair by medics after collapsing at the end of the men's 200m final.

After it was announced that Lyles had returned a positive Covid test, let's hope there are no long-term effects and that we see the 100m champion again soon.

But this was not about Lyles being unable to take the chance to become only the 10th man in Olympic history to do the 100m-200m double.

This was not about Lyles' showboating and bravado coming back to bite him.
