Mo Salah has a strong case to be honoured in some way by Liverpool for what he is doing this season.

Not even the most rabid Red expected the club to win the Premier League this season and the fact they are on course to do so is down to Salah.

The forward is the top-flight’s leading scorer with 27 goals, and he also leads the assists table with 17.

That is 44 goal involvements in 29 league games, with Salah the driving force behind what is set to be Liverpool's record-equalling 20th title.

He has failed to score or provide an assist in only four league matches.
