Slot's got fingers crossed for quick Alisson comeback
Daily Express
|October 04, 2025
ARNE SLOT has ruled Alisson out of the blockbuster visit of Manchester United on October 19 but says luck could see him return any time after that.
The Liverpool goalkeeper went off with a hamstring injury against Galatasaray on Tuesday and had scans which suggested he could miss up to six weeks.
But an optimistic Slot said: "How long he is out depends on how fast the recovery goes, but I would be surprised if he would be there in the first game after the international break [against United].
"But from there on, sometimes things can go a bit faster or slower. It's always difficult to say."
