EMILE HESKEY has told record signing Alexander Isak that he needs to work harder to drag Liverpool out of their slump.

Isak (inset) has endured a difficult start to life at Anfield following his £125m switch from Newcastle.

Former Liverpool striker Heskey reckons his old club are in crisis and believes the Swede needs to do more to help himself and the team succeed.

“We don't like to use that word (crisis) but what other word can you use?,” said Heskey. “We've not seen anything like this at Liverpool for a long time.”
