Rolex thief threatened to chop off Aled's arm

A MACHETE-WIELDING teenager said he would cut off Aled Jones' arm unless he handed over his Rolex watch, a court heard yesterday.
The Songs of Praise star was confronted by the 16-year-old while he was with his son and reluctantly handed over the £17,000 timepiece after a string of terrifying threats.
But the thug was caught making off with the Rolex Daytona on CCTV and police found the machete stashed in his bedroom.
The 6ft teen, who cannot be named for legal reasons, turned up two hours late for his trial at Wimbledon Youth Court but then pleaded guilty to robbery and possession of a bladed weapon.
