TOM LOCKYER reckons Rob Edwards will still believe he made the right move, even if the Wolves manager swaps levels with his Middlesbrough successor.

Wanderers' relegation to the Championship is now little more than a formality and Boro - the club Edwards left in November when they were second in the table are level on points with Coventry City and looking good for promotion.

But Lockyer, the former Luton Town player who developed a strong bond with Edwards during their time at Kenilworth Road, said: "He is such a good guy, I am absolutely sure he still wants Middlesbrough to go on and get promoted. He will not have any regrets.

"And having spoken to him, we are of the same mindset - you want to finish your career with no regrets.
