We're used to seeing him sitting on a comfy sofa with Cat Deeley, but This Morning star Ben Shephard’s latest project has taken him to new heights.

In ITV show The Summit, 14 contestants take on one of New Zealand's picturesque yet formidable mountains. With just 14 days to reach the summit, and an equal share of the £200,000 prize money in their backpacks, they must tackle treacherous terrain and extraordinary challenges along the way.

But it isn’t just a test of physical strength — strategy plays a crucial role, as the contestants will also have to eliminate their competitors during the competition.
