Putin offers to stick to nuclear arms limit...for one more year

VLADIMIR Putin yesterday said Moscow would stick to nuclear arms limits for one more year, under the last remaining pact with the US.

The Russian president urged Washington to follow suit with an extension to the New START treaty, which expires in February next year.

As his forces attacked Zaporizhzhia, destroying 15 buildings and wounding three people, Putin claimed ending the treaty could damage global stability.
