ANDY ROBERTSON is finally pain free and ready to find his best form again.

The Liverpool defender has revealed how he spent five months playing through injuries to give it all for club and country.

Robertson, 30, battled ankle issues in the second half of last season but got through it and led Scotland at Euro 2024.

The left-back thought a three-week break would help his niggles settle down but then he was forced to sit out his club's pre-season games in America.

Robertson was then back at full fitness to face Ipswich for Liverpool's season-opening 2-0 win.

He said: "I felt really good against Ipswich, all things considered.
