'No evidence' blue light stops us sleeping

GAZING at a screen that emits "blue light" before bedtime does not trigger insomnia, scientists have said.
The NHS often warns that blue light from TVs, phones and tablet displays suppress melatonin - a hormone that appears to tell the body it is time to rest.
