Mum flying the flag for tragic Callum

DEVOTED is retracing sun-soaked mum Nicola Powell her late son's steps at Glastonbury and proudly waving his homemade flag in tribute.

Callum always took it to his favourite festival, making his first trip there in 2016.

But the traffic manager, from Ellesmere Port on the Wirral was struck down with stage four oesophageal cancer and died in May last year aged 28.

Nicola, 55, would always watch television coverage of the Somerset event to try and spot his red and yellow Costa d'El Porto banner.

So she is taking it this weekend, joined by daughter Chloe, 27, and fundraising for advances in cancer treatment at The Christie Hospital in Manchester which cared for Callum.

His family have helped raise £29,000 and now friends have also organised The Cosmic Cape festival in Chester on August 5.
