Men in poorest regions live 10 years less than those in richest

MEN living in the poorest parts of the country can expect to die up to a decade earlier than those in wealthier areas, analysis shows.

Life expectancy ranges from 73.1 years for men in Blackpool to 83.4 in Hart, Hampshire, a report from the Centre for Ageing Better found.

For women, it ranged from 78.9 in Blackpool to 86.5 in Kensington and Chelsea.

The State of Ageing 2025 report warned regional health inequalities are growing, with poorer communities concentrated in northern England.
