THE knife-wielding beach killer of football coach Amie Gray remained on the loose last night as the hunt intensified for a hooded suspect wanted in connection with her murder.

It came as a 17-year-old arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday was released without charge yesterday.

Police said the youth, on holiday in the town from Lancashire, had been "eliminated from inquiries" over the stabbing of two women from Poole on Durley Chine Beach in Bournemouth at around 11.45pm on Friday.

Mum Amie, 34, was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 38-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The second woman remained in hospital last night after having emergency treatment.

Hours before the teenager's release Dorset police released police released CCTV images of a hooded suspect who they are now desperate to trace.

But they warned any members of the public who spot him not to approach but instead dial 999.
