Love you right back! Celine's starry ovation

BATTLING Celine Dion was given a standing ovation by surprised Grammys guests as her very rare public appearance sparked hopes that her fragile health might be improving.

The Canadian singer gave Taylor Swift the Album of the Year award and said: "Those who have been blessed enough to be here...must never take for granted the tremendous love and joy that music brings to our lives and to people all around the world." 

Her career spans nearly four decades but she stepped back from performing in 2022, sharing a diagnosis of stiff person syndrome. The neurological disorder causes muscle stiffness and spasms. Last year Celine, 55, cut her European tour over health issues.

Critics jumped on an apparent snub by Taylor first person to win the gong four times as she failed to look at Celine as she accepted the award.
