Kevin's 'shock' at Etihad axe

IT IS SAFE to say Kevin De Bruyne is not too pleased at being told his time at Manchester City is up this summer.

And he does not care who knows it - even if he is in earshot of the two men who appear to have wielded the axe, Etihad CEO Ferran Soriano and director of football Txiki Begiristain.

De Bruyne, 33, said: “It was Tikki and Ferran who told me.”

Then as the City hierarchy was pointed out to him yards away, he added: “I don't feel awkward with them [being in the corridor].
