Katie plagued by death threats and vile abuse

TENNIS star Katie Boulter has revealed the sick death threats she gets on social media just minutes after finishing matches — whether she has won or lost.

The British No2 spoke about the vile abuse, with one troll threatening to damage her grandmother's grave if the star was not “dead by tomorrow”.

Another in her inbox said: “Hope you get cancer,” while one referenced a failed bet, saying: “Go to hell, I lost money my mother sent me.”

Boulter, 28, revealed that the online abuse, as well as explicit unsolicited photos, have become “the norm” in tennis.
