Kate hug for dance class hero teacher

A HEROIC dance teacher who was stabbed as she shielded children during the Southport murders has shared poignant images of her being hugged by the Princess of Wales and singing superstar Taylor Swift.

Leanne Lucas was hosting a Taylorthemed dance class on July 29 last year, when teenager Axel Rudakubana began attacking children and adults.

Bebe King, six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and Alice da Silva Aguiar, nine, were killed and 10 others injured.

Last month, Rudakubana, now 18, received a life sentence for murder and must serve a minimum of 52 years behind bars.

Leanne, 36, has now posted photos on Facebook, headed "2024 Memories", of her hugging Prince William and Kate when they visited the Merseyside seaside town on October 10 last year.
