Mum's joy at boost from King
THE mother of Rebecca Dykes, the only British woman embassy worker to be murdered in the line of public service, has praised King Charles for his commitment to humanitarian causes.
She was featured on the Express's front page yesterday after the King presented her with the new Elizabeth Emblem in Rebecca's honour.
Jane Houng, 66, said: "It was an absolute honour to meet His Majesty. He does a lot for humanitarian causes and he shows great leadership." Rebecca Dykes, 30, was a humanitarian worker at the British Embassy in Lebanon when she was raped and strangled by a taxi driver in Beirut in 2017.
