Husband's pain over discovery murdered wife having affair

THE husband of a British woman killed in France has spoken of his heartbreak after learning she was having an affair.

The body of Karen Carter, 65, who was stabbed in the Dordogne village of Tremolat, was discovered by the man she had been seeing.

Retired businessman Jean-Francois Guerrier, 74, found her bleeding on the driveway of her home on April 29 after they had spent the evening with friends at a wine tasting event.

Their relationship was discovered after detectives launched an investi-gation into the mother of four’s death.

Betrayal

But Ms Carter's husband Alan, 65, said it had left him with “a feeling of complete betrayal”.
