Horse-whipping video leaves Olympian's career in tatters

OLYMPIC equestrian star Charlotte Dujardin's career is in "tatters" after she was filmed repeatedly whipping a horse, a former eventer said.
Alice Plunkett expressed shock after the video, aired on Good Morning Britain yester day, showed the six-time Team GB dressage medallist striking the animal "like a elephant in a circus".
The International Federation for Equestrian Sports suspended Dujardin, 39, days before the Paris Olympics.
Dujardin said she made "an error of judgment" while coaching a 19-year-old student and was "deeply ashamed".
ITV Racing presenter Ms Plunkett said: "She will be hung, drawn and quartered.
