Homeowners 'gagged' in row over new builds

Buyers missed banning clause
NEIGHBOURS on a new build estate say they have been "gagged" by the developer from objecting to plans for 131 more houses in a neighbouring field.
The residents live in Crest Nicholson's Highlands Park, completed in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, in 2020.
But some have been outraged to learn a clause in their buyer's contract bans them from objecting to the developer's next phase. It will also relocate facilities such as a community centre and football pitches, promised during the original build.
