Heat's back on for 35C scorcher

WE thought it was all over - but another record heatwave sizzler could be here next week, with temperatures as high as 35C.

Last Saturday's 33.2C was the hottest day of 2025, then things cooled due to a mixture of showers and sunny spells.

But early forecasts for next Tuesday suggest temperatures in the South East, East Anglia and the Midlands could hit 35C.
